Harris Park Enigma (Dec) is a ½ sibling to a number of Kinnordy Winona's progeny bred by Holger and Melanie Schmorl of Kinnordy Stud as well as Harris Park Riordan (ET) by the Hannoveraner stallion Riverside (Imp) (Regazzoni x Donnerhall x Pik König), Harris Park Odette (ET) by the KWPN stallion Pref Keur OO Seven (Imp) (Rubinstein I x Doruto x Amor) and Harris Park Freestyler by the Oldenburger stallion Floriscount OLD (IFS) (Florencio I x Donnerhall x Walldorf I).

 

It was with an extremely heavy heart that I had to have Milk Face euthanised at eight months and twenty seven days old due to an intussusception of his colon possibly involving his caecum. It was one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make. This was a devastating and extremely disappointing end after all we had been through losing his mother and with him becoming an orphan foal. He is buried at home next to his mother, Winona.

Estobar NRW (IFS) (Ehrentusch x Ferragamo x Florestan I) was the undisputed Champion Stallion of the 16th NRW Main Licensing in Münster-Handorf, Germany, in 2006. He was sold at the subsequent stallion auction for the record price of 550.000 € by Equus Invest AG. Estobar NRW completed his 30 Day Stallion Performance Test in Münster-Handorf, Germany, in 2007, achieving top marks. He was awarded "very good" three times scoring 9.38 points for rideability, 9.06 points for trot and 9.0 points for character. He was given 8.94 points for his canter, 8.31 points for his walk and 7.63 for jumping ability. In addition to this, he won the prestigious "Westfalen-Wappen" at the "Turnier der Sieger" in Münster with merit and a score of 8.80 points. In 2008, Estobar NRW continued his successful career in an impressive manner under Ingrid Klimke, winning and placing in novice (A) and elementary (L) level tests for young dressage horses.

 

At the conclusion of the 2009 breeding season, Estobar NRW completed his 70 Day Stallion Performance Test in Adelheidsdorf, Germany. In the partial index for dressage he finished in first place by a clear margin scoring a sensational dressage index of 154.74 points (1/31) with 70.97 points for jumping (27/31). After a deduction of nearly 5 points for age he finished with a general index of 119.15 (6/31). In 2010, Estobar NRW was ridden by Wolfhard Witte winning several dressage competitions for young horses at M level and qualified effortlessly for the prestigious national championship for young horses in Warendorf.

 

In 2011, Estobar NRW found easy success winning at S level. Towards the end of 2011, Hubertus Schmidt became his trainer and without doubt, this son of the talented Ehrentusch will be a promising addition to Hubertus Schmidt's stable. Dressage experts agree that he is a promising talent destined for the highest honours thanks to his extraordinary movements, great collection, willingness and extreme rideability.

 

Estobar NRW's first foal crop more than met all expectations. His foals are exceedingly modern type, with good conformation and excellent movements and several of them were sold for high prices through the NRW pedigree auction. "This first crop of foals is looked upon as being particularly highly talented dressage prospects." Quotation by Dr F. Marahrens, CEO and Head of Breeding of the Westfälischen Pferdestammbuch. 2010 saw Estobar NRW's debut as a sire with his first crop to be licensed at the 20th NRW main licensing. Four of his sons were presented, the largest lot by one sire in the group of young stallions. Of the two sons that were licensed, one was a Premium Stallion who was sold for 80.000 € to a dressage stable in Hesse, Germany. As of 31 October, 2011, he has two approved and recognised sons and one state premium daughter.

 

Victorious debut for Estobar NRW (Ehrentusch x Ferragamo x Florestan I)! At the K+K Cup tournament in Münster Estobar NRW and team Olympic gold medalist Hubertus Schmidt won the second division of the Prix St Georges for seven to ten year olds. This was the eight year old bay stallion's first start under his new rider for which he received 72.105 %. Previously, he was presented by his trainer Wolfhard Witte.
